Say it loud and there's music playing

Callbacks... on the auditions for good 'ol WSS which has been taking up my livejournal space as of late. When I first got there I was kind of dissapointed because there were, in fact, many more guys there- but most of them were older etc. so it kind of made me feel like I had less of a chance of getting a lead. However, Marcus and I ended up reading and singing more than the others, and we even stayed afterwards to sing "Maria" more after everyone left. I think we will get large parts (but I'm not going to say anything for certain because that would just be dumb). Dr. Ego, as we nicknamed him, also got a callback but he was in a worse mood today so he was a little more negotiable. The other day I was thinking that I wasn't going to try out at all. Now I'm all involved and stuff. Oi, it's the same notes again.

You know, until I heard it without all the hustle and bustle and stuff around tonight, I didn't really realize just what a beautiful song "Maria" is. If I get Tony, I will be extremely happy that I get to sing it.
