I came back to Bryn Mawr for graduation this weekend, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but...I'm really glad I did. Glad in a mostly uncomplicated, feel-like-I've-gotten-closure sense. It was real bizarre and pretty emotional being on campus for the first time in a year, but it was good to see people I hadn't seen in that long, to casually catch up with them and to cheer for the people I know who are now done and who I am so proud of! I am proud of me, too. I've come far in the past year, which was clear to me today in a way it often isn't.
Plus, everyone loves my red hair. I have never gotten so many compliments on the same thing in a compacted period of time in my life.
