...gonna get back to basics....

So I'm the master of interviews. I went for an interview yesterday for an internship at True Entertainment... and was basically hired on the spot pending what my school said about only working until March. The company was bought out and basically they're only in those offices until they're done with the post-production of this show they're working on called World's Apart for the National Geographic Channel. Basically they take a whole bunch of American families and place them in third world countries and film them for 9 days. So I would be logging footage. I was excited about that.

Until today.

I left for my interview thinking to myself, here's to my future.

I had an interview for Sound Pictures with the co-founder of the company. I was nervous. Very nervous. We met up at this Cafe in Union Square and immediately we hit it off... it went SOOOO well. I almost thought he was going to hire me on the spot. But he said to call back on Monday or Tuesday to know for sure. This company has done some indie films.. with people like Naomi Watts, Anthony LaPaglia, Don Cheadle...etc. And currently they're working on pre-production of Arthur Miller's play "A View From the Bridge." I was really excited cause I would love to do this stuff you know. And if they like me I get to stay on for the summer and the actual production and filming in Brooklyn. So I come home from the interview... and do my laundry and shower and stuff... then I get a phone call from John Limotte... saying that I was his favorite and if I wanted the internship, it was mine!!!!!!!! So I'm really happy. I think nothing can get me down today. I think.
