Cigarette Girl
So I am considering taking on a second job to help pay bills. This would be as cigarette girl at the Park Lounge Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I personally feel that I would make excellent tips from drunk guys. Plus, I would be out making money rather than spending it. This means I could make my entire car insurance payment in one weekend, as I would get paid hourly, too. Downsides are that I would have only Tuesdays and Wednesday nights free (Mondays I have band practice - yes, I play trumpet in a community band with my dad and you will all come see our summer concerts) and Sunday would be my only full day off. I have a 3 hour swim practice every Saturday from 12-3 ish, so that doesn't count as not working because those wear me out. I wouldn't be able to see my friends much or Darrell, as we only see each other on weekends as it is with school, but that he will be out in a month. I also was really looking forward to concerts in the park and Trash Film Orgy this summer. Am I crazy to consider taking this on? I REALLY need the money to pay my bills, as I have been struggling for a very long time. I mean, if it totally sucks, I could quit after a month or so and still have made a few hundred bucks, right? Plus, I'm sure I could get some of my favorite people in for cheap and/or free... I would get to wear a cute outfit, carry a tray, sell cigarettes and candy, and make tips.
