River Pictures
We finally drove out to the levee today and took some pictures. This is the Mississippi River.
In front of the office building is the river road and those are grain silos beside it.
Behind this line of trees is usually the river bank. Right now it's just part of the river.
Well, um, obviously that's the road. *G* Actually, if you can see the current it's flowing in a sort of maelstrom circling from here to behind the trees and back again.
This is left behind debris from where the water level has already went down some.
It's going down. YAY!
