A Crooked Kind of Perfect by Linda Urban

Today it rained. I got hit upside the head with a bad case of depression and thought not only my current WIP stank worse than last week's spilled milk, but decided the MS out on submissions was the total joke I feared all along it would be. Usually, I can't read when I'm in this kind of funk.

A Crooked Kind of Perfect  was sitting on my counter and I picked it up to flip through. And smiled.

So, keeping in tune with Zoe.

What I did

I kept smiling and read on. I fixed frozen pizza for the kids' dinner and went back to reading. I got a little teary eyed in a few spots, laughed out loud in a few more. And then I just couldn't stop until I was finished with the book.

Zoe dreams big, but is never afraid to make do with what she has. And in the end, well, maybe that's how you make dreams come true. You just work with what you have and somehow, it'll all work out.

Read the book.  Zoe will win your heart and you'll learn that giving up is just not something worth doing. You gotta keep playing, no matter what!!!!!!!! ---If you've read the book then you'll get the exclamation points.  And, if you haven't read the book then you'll just have to now, otherwise you'll just be like... the only one wearing socks!  *G*
