Last night, or early this morning, I put my dog outside so she could daintily walk around the grass in the backyard. She chooses her spots carefully, because where she does her thing is probably one of the highlights of her day. As I closed my door I realized my pool jets were making a lot of noise. I stepped down my stairs and checked it out. Somehow, even though the wind was calm, my swimming pool had turned into a mini wave pool. It usually only does this when the kids are playing in it. Since no one was swimming this freaked me out. Either our live-in poltergeist had decided to take a midnight swim or we were hit with a small earthquake. Or, better yet, some creepy person had jumped my fence for a swim. This one really gives me the willies because that would mean they were hiding in the shadows while I was out there. I don't think this happened. Not really. The concrete around the pool was dry so that would require a person to have the ability to perform magic or fly when exiting the pool.
Just strange, I tell ya. So strange.
This weekend is my little Roo's 10th birthday. Can you believe that? Already ten years old! My youngest will turn 7 this year. I think Roo was only 7 when I started up my LJ. Wow, time does fly when you're having fun. ;-)
Well, back to work I go. I want to write about 2k today. 4k would be awesome, but I'm not holding my breath on it.
