I almost died last night.

The fault belongs to my closet door.  It won't stay fixed, you see.  I didn't even know it'd gone off track again.  So when I pushed the one side I pushed the other as well.  And then I turned and intended to walk away.  Good thing about that peripheral vision thing cause that's what saved me.  The left door seemed to be doing an odd thing so I jumped forward. The door crashed into my dresser and, ya know, I kinda thought I was on that movie Final Destination because it popped off the dresser, stood straight up, and then fell toward me again!  I backed up, tripping over the edge of my elliptical trainer, cussed a little, and hopped out of the way.

Or so I thought.

The stupid door sort of roll-bounced off the trainer, heading in my direction again. This time I took the threat against my life seriously and ran to my bed where I jumped up and watched the closet door come to a final rest on the floor.

And yeah, I've been writing. Wanna see?

At the next half hour mark, he moved to the edge and stood, his face still empty of emotion.  Laura straightened, keeping a careful watch now.

“Are you sure you’re up to this?” Gray asked.

“I dropped you into the mine, didn’t I?”

He had no time to answer as Isaac opened his arms wide and tipped forward into a freefall.  Laura reached out, making a fist as if to grab him, even though he was several feet away.  As she yanked her hand back, the abyss blurred from sight, leaving the mine’s normal dirt floor.  That’s where Isaac landed a perfect face plant.

panthan's abyss, when in doubt just babble, before i got my stupid hat
