Get well soon. We've already had swine flu at my house.

I think with the kindle, you can loan books back and forth so that might help some. There are also lots of books that you can d/l for free off of google. There is also Baen Free Library.

And if you really want to go through the converstion hassle, you can convert old ebook files to the kindle format. Amazon says you can't, but you can. It is a hassle through.
