What if Meredith and Lexie had a baby together???This started over on Twitter (where you can find me as "shinyalice", just to confuse you all) but who are we to keep this madness all to ourselves

Here's something new to bring to the table...who would be the "father figure?" Not the father of the baby, but the guy who's around for them. A year ago
I would have said George. But. Not so much anymore. Alex, perhaps?

I think Cristina should be the father figure. Haaaaaaaaah! Alex would be so awkward around them! Oh also, I remember having a discussion with mammothluv about how badly I wanted Addison/Lexie interaction (this was pre-6x11) and so clearly Lexie should get pregnant. Obviously Addison would have to be her OB and deliver the baby in this scenario!!!

And: After the baby is born, Meredith would be all tentative and Lexie would have to give her a pep talk about how Meredith will be a GOOD MOM and won't screw up their baby! And then Meredith would hold the baby awkwardly and Lexie would give her that "I AM COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH YOU" smile/look that she gives Meredith all the freakin' time.

ZOMG! Yes! I have this adorable mental image of Meredith being all nervous about bonding with the baby and Lexie patiently working through it with her. Meredith would act all shy and nervous at first but then she'd totally be a natural and Lexie would be all proud and "See, I told you!" And then they would have warm fuzzy moments together and they would cuddle in bed and read to the baby together and play footsie under the covers while doing so.

Did I mention... ZOMG!!!??? Damnit. Why did I go to bed before you guys got all cracky?
