I know, I know. I post too much. But I'm just not over "Tainted Obligation" yet! (And likely never will be, lol.)

So I regularly listen to the official Grey's Anatomy podcast, as well as read the writers' blog. This week they happened to be filled with buckets of M/L gems, such as the following:

I so agree with you and with Ellen. This was all about Meredith and Lexie.

And as an aside, Meredith wouldn't be Meredith if she didn't do this, whether it was for the reasons that anyone is "supposed" to do them

I don't know that any of us will ever recover.

Because for Ellen, this story wasn’t a Mer/Thatcher reconciliation story - it was a Mer/Lexie story.
ZOMG! *SPAZZ* Oh, I love Ellen for seeing the epic love between Meredith and Lexie. This would have been the least interesting story in the world if they'd tried to make it about Thatcher and Meredith. Meredith has absolutely no reason to do anything for Thatcher anymore other than Lexie. That is what made what she did so huge because she let go of everything between her and Thatcher to do this FOR Lexie ON ACCOUNT OF THEIR EPIC LOVE.

I really think Lexie has loved Meredith unconditionally for a long time now and I think Meredith has loved Lexie back for a while now too but this is the first time Meredith really realized the depth of her feelings for Lexie - that's what the "I know what it's like to have a sister..." speech was for me.
