Okay, I feel the most important thing to discuss is how, right before Lexie stormed out of Thatcher's room, MEREDITH TOUCHED HER BACK IN WHAT I ASSUME WAS MEANT TO BE A COMFORTING GESTURE. IT WASN'T A HUG BUT YOU'VE WORN ME DOWN, SHONDA. I WILL TAKE IT.
I loled for a good long time at "Meredith, you have to come see Dad." "Why? Does he want another organ?"
Also, I love that Meredith apparently cannot say no to Lexie's pleas of "Meredith, please."
Lexie was just busting out with the awesome lines left and right in this episode:
"BACK THE HELL UP, RIGHT NOW." Meredith looked a little impressed and turned on when Lexie got all hardcore.
"That's what happens when your boyfriend's an old man. Old men get cancer."
"My Dad's Tatted Up Skank Isn't the Bitch. I am."
I'm not so fond of Meredith telling Lexie to grow up. She was right but I am sad that she was so harsh instead of WORKING THROUGH THEIR PROBLEMS WITH HUGS OR AT LEAST MORE TOUCHING LEXIE'S BACK. (But I forgive you, Meredith since it was preceded by an "I love you.")
I feel there needs to be so much post-episode fic. WITH TOUCHING AND HUGGING AND LEXIE TALKING ABOUT SKANKS.

I need to rewatch and screencap and then come back here. WITH SCREENCAPS. (Honestly it was hard to give enough attention to both of the Lexies on my screen at the same time when I originally watched. ;)
