February episode spoilers and spec.

There are spoilers, and I think they might be pretty good for ~our purposes~. Under the cut!
Apparently, in the sides for episode 7.14, there's one for the girlfriend of a patient who is being brought into the hospital for kidney rejection. This section of the sides mentions two sisters who are daughters of the patient and, seemingly, work in the hospital. "Kidney" can easily be swapped for "liver," and there you have it. From the looks of the scene in the sides, it'll primarily be a Lexie/Thatcher storyline...but what happens if he dies, yeah? That's all I'm sayin'. ;)
Also interesting is the fact that the girlfriend has (rumor has it) been cast, and that she is much younger than him, leading to lols and anvils about a Certain Other Grey's Relationship. But that's beside the point, MEREDITH AND LEXIE POSSIBLY CUDDLE.
There are several ways in which this could be very, very good for us. I don't have the sides or the casting news on hand, but if I find them, I'll post them. This is just a short post because I'm gonna be late to lunch with my bff whooooops.
