Day 1 - RL ramblings

Sep 09, 2013 18:45

So, for universe_the, we have to post on 10 consecutive days. If I do that, I will have surpassed my post total for all of last year, I think. I'm going to ramble for today, but like others doing this challenge, if anyone has anything they want me to talk about (like top 5s or other random Tumblr memes), feel free to poke me with them ( Read more... )

I am too. I'm also excited that it gave me an excuse to post. As I keep thinking I might post and then never do.

It does. I'm actually cheating right now and only doing part of his food as the prescription food. I'm doing the other part as non-prescription urinary tract formula. As it is 1/4 of the price. And if I did all prescription food, it would almost be the cost of the surgery in like six months, so another 10 (hopefully, given his age) years of that? I can't.

They aren't much older. We're talking turning three from October to February rather than turning three from March to July, but still. I think it is more of a difference because we have fewer kids with speech issues this year. Last year was really like teaching two different classes - the class I'd had the previous year, which was social and talkative and had self-help skills (I moved up with half of my kids) and the class that came from a different room that didn't talk, didn't have self-help skills, and was barely social. It was very difficult.

It's not like the multiple jobs are hard. The second job is usually only a few kids. I think the most I've had is 4 so far? It's just I hate never having a day where I don't have to leave the house. Never having a day where I feel totally rested. Never have a day where I can just forget about work. But I shouldn't complain. Some people would love to have even one job.

its ok to complain - it sucks even if you're lucky to have a job, having a day off is important!
