Sweet Charity
I'm back. Sort of. Some of you may have noticed that I've been trying to comment over the past couple of weeks. It hasn't been perfect (and I have a Firefox window (with 29 tabs) that contains entries I need to give more in-depth attention to that I saved for later), but I'm definitely trying.
The reason I'm posting now is that despite my lack of time (I have 130 or so hours on my TiVo to watch, including the complete season 4.5 of BSG, if that gives you any indication of my life these days), I've decided to do this...
I kept saying that I was going to do it one of these days, but never felt I had the time; however, this is the last Sweet Charity auction, so it was now or never. In a way, I think it is a good thing, as it will "force" me to do something I enjoy. (Not that I didn't enjoy the 3+ hours defrosting my freezer. On a gorgeous Saturday morning. I mean, what could possibly be better than that?) I keep thinking that I'll make icons on my own, for challenges or just for me, but it hasn't happened. At least this way I'm guaranteed it will happen, and it is for a good cause (RAINN).
Anyway, it's not so much that I want people to bid for me. It's just that this is the last time, and there are tons of different options in a myriad of fandoms, so the more people that check it out and get involved, the better. (I know that a few of you already know about it. Heck, I've purchased the services of two of you before. I just figured another pimp post couldn't hurt.)
