It's hot! The entire weekend was upper 80s, lower 90s and very humid. Quite extraordinary for June in Quebec. Before my southern friends laugh and remind me they've had this weather for three months now, I'll tell you we don't have an air conditioner. It was 80+ in the house all weekend and 80% humidity. Sleeping the night before last was terrible. Plus, the water that comes out of the hose is like ice so the girls were only able to play for about 10 minutes before they hated it. We ended up buying a little pool with an inflatable slide, which they love, but we had to half fill it with the hot water spigot.
I am so glad I moved all the toys to the basement. It is like free air conditioning down there. I've been sewing like a mad woman - finished the last six reusable grocery bags and got a good start on the cloth napkins I'm taking to Florida. (51 days now!!!!!) I'm about to go down there again and veg out in the faux a/c.
