Sam's mom has ruined both girls' nice, brand new, able to be worn next year, pretty green on both of them, long-sleeved t-shirts and thankfully both girls had on play jeans. I know it's a petty thing to be irritated about but my kids get just a few brand new clothing items each year. I can't spend $20 on a pair of pants or $15 on a t-shirt and those are freaking evil Walmart prices. Kathryn usually gets second-hand and Anna gets all Kathryn's hand-me-downs. Besides, I got these two on the end-of-winter sale at Zellars for only a dollar each. And they are completely ruined because she sprayed that stinky Avon spray that supposed to keep bugs away on them. It's bath oil. It reeks. It specifically says on the bottle not to spray it on fabric. IT'S OIL.
ETA: Before anyone suggests I send them over there with just junk clothes on, I do! They were over there with me that time and when I walked home to get the citronelle candle and bug spray, she sprayed them with that crap. Every year, I make my own bug spray that works really good and I told her I was getting it.
