Busy, busy, busy
I'm tired. I had to clean out the basement, which was a fine mess. I separated out my yarn and fabric stash because I don't want it to sit while I'm gone. I have one medium sized box of yarn and a few assorted items I'm sending my dad, five 4-yard cuts of flannel (for pajamas) I'm leaving here until our first visit and a few projects to complete before I go. The biggest change is that we're moving the "guest bed" up to the attic for storage and the girls' toys are going in the basement. Hip hip hooray. No more toys in the living/dining/kitchen/bathroom/my bedroom. Sam and I moved down shelves and my final task is organizing the toys. We have a whole pile of junk to get rid of and even though I hate freecycle, I loathe hauling stuff even more. There's also an impressive trash pile of random crap that had been piling up and I finally conviced Sam to toss. He has the hoarding gene. Oh, and the worst part about all this is Sam has somehow lost the vacuum extensions so I was on my ass scooting around the 15' x 30' carpet with the little 4 inch wide attachment. I did take "before" and "during" pictures and as soon as the extra furniture is cleared out of there, I'll take the "afters."
