Yeah, I never used to think about this stuff until I came here. I find myself questioning things a lot more recently, but when it really comes down to it God is right there next to Santa and the easter bunny. It's sort of something you outgrow when you learn about evolution, like realising that "Santa" is written in your mom's handwriting. Sin and Grace and all that stuff are pretty meaningless if there isn't a God or son of God to begin with. I agree that people can change and redeem themselves, but on this earth.
And for the last part. Wow I'd be pretty offended if I believed in a hell. But I guess those are the rules. It's like having a club in a treehouse that a guy named Bob creates. In order to get in you have to say "Bob is the best!!" and if you don't then Bob kicks you off the ladder to crash into the ground and break your arm. So then you find out that Bob really IS the best tree house builder. Did he really have to break your arm? You didn't know. Then you'd be like "What an asshole." Yeah, it's a beautiful tree house and he worked hard to build it, but he doesn't have to be such a conceited dick about it. It's not fair to say that something you do is selfless if you have to do something in return. That is a contradiction.
Bottom line: I am willing to admit that I could be wrong. Just don't fucking break my arm.
As for now, the only reason I would believe in anything is because I don't really want to go to your hell. And that would be pretty selfish so I'm just not going to subscribe to anything.

i'm not trying to break your fucking arm, i think you're totally missing the point of what i'm trying to say. i just thought you were making a judgement based on a misconception and i was trying to clear things up. as for the whole analogy thing, i must be missing something... when did anybody push you out of a treehouse, so to speak? nobody's trying to put you down... (at least i'm not.) sorry if you feel that way.
