Along the river Seine
Back from Paris. The city is beautiful. The trip was slightly frustrating since I don't speak french, and I felt really dumb when I was trying to make myself understood, especially cuz it's not fair to assume that people will speak english (although a fair number do). It also probably didn't help that I kept thinking in spanish for some reason. Sigh. Amazing what one remembers from 4 1/2 years of Spanish. Saw the Eiffel tower, the Notre Dame, the Louve, and the Musee d'Orassy among other things. I also just loved walking through the streets and by the river. However, having now been to Paris, I admit I don't have an overwelming desire to return.

I'm also sick with what I'm pretty sure is strep (again). Doctor's is closed. I can't get drugs to treat it and I feel like crap. Grrr. But on the bright side, it's beautiful out.
