traveling
So we're in Tucumcari, NM. It is cold, windy, and rainy. Luckily that got going as we were stopping for the day. Rain in the desert smells amazing, though. Gabe has been great, especially considering this has been a long day, almost 700 miles. We considered stopping in Amarillo, but that was at 6 pm, and pushing on for two hours made sense, especially since getting out of Texas feels like a mental victory of sorts. (It's a bit demoralizing to be in a state where you can drive all day and never cross a state line.)
