Emotional and sensory overload!! The best fucking day of my life, EVER!!!! Meeting your musical hero, a genius, your icon, your idol, the love of your life is something that changes your life for-fucking-ever!!! I will never get over this experence!! I will also never stop talking about it!!!
Martin Lee Gore is to die for. His Santa Barbara DJ set was amazing. He was a perfect blend of coyness and playfulness! With soft lips, the greatest laugh and smile in the world and such warm charm, anyone would easily fall in love.
My MODE friends and I went in, shook his hand, took pictures with him and watched him spin for 3 hours as I remained only a few feet from the Blonde genius. It was perfection. His selection was fucking amazing and I danced my ass off, as you can see in the picture below. Afterwards, he went to the back lounge area to relax and play pool. A friend of his asked if we wanted to be introduced to him and of course we grabbed at the opportunity. We went in nervous and trying to remain calm, and said friend of Marty introduced us by name where he then kissed us and hugged us and said "thank you for being so into down in the front." We were, needless to say, really fucking into it!!! We took pictures, chatted a bit, and watched him play pool. Upon leaving, we got another kiss goodbye and thanked him for everything he's done and told him it was an honor meeting him. I'm actually surprised I was able to get anything out, let alone structured and intelligent conversation. He was so fucking adorable and incredibly nice and funny and whitty and I can't fucking believe I met him and got to hang out with him!!! I can seriously die a happy woman now!
