Obama in Texas

Mar 07, 2008 11:11

Report on the radio this morning:

Though caucus numbers are still coming in, if current percentages hold up Obama will take home 3-4 more delegates from Texas than Clinton.  In the best case scenario for Clinton, it will be a tie for Texas in delegate numbers.  Democracy at work for ya.

Also, I spent some time playing with the "delegate counter" on CNN's website.  Even if a candidate wins every contest with 65% to 35% victories (landslides in every remaining contest), they'll be in the lead, but unable to clinch without significant superdelegate help.

Looks like this contest will be coming down to superdelegates, and the Florida/Michigan debacle.  Wow.
