Sunday night, or perhaps it was Monday morning, I dreamt that Alfred Hitchcock was my grandfather, and he was telling me his memories of shooting Psycho. For example, how they did 14 takes of the shower scene, and every time Anthony Perkins would begin stabbing, Hitch would erupt into hysterical laughter.

Monday evening, I learn on IMDb that it is Hitchcock's b-day. I would say "cue Twilight Zone music," but I wouldn't wish to offend Hitch's television memory. I've officially changed my ringtone from the theme from a Summer Place to the Funeral March of a Marionette in honor of Hitch.
