While I am hugely flattered by the sentiment, I don't want poo flinging to commence. I do love DJing. Obviously I can't DJ in a smoking bar- but that's not all of it. Right now, I'm dealing with morning sickness, so who knows what nights I'll have to bail to stay home this month. In 7 months, I doubt I'll have the energy to stand there all night lookin' like a whale and stuff.
The bottom line is this: I want you guys to know what your getting when you walk in the door. (Instead of a different DJ covering every week.) The way it's working out presently is not fair to you. ... See More
While I would love Friday's to be non-smoking for when I Spin, there is a fear out there that the numbers will tank. (based on what has happened at non-smoking special events) As far as I'm concerned- It should be all or nothing, so when smokers walk into the club not knowing it's a non-smoking event, they won't get their panties in a wad. But that's not my decision.
With that said...I don't think you'll get rid of me that easily. I would like to have huge monthly special events in the future if it is agreeable to the folks that make the decisions. That's something that management and I can talk about. That way, you can still harass me and not let me go to my peaceful (but totally bored) rest.
