Some things i've learned...

Some things I've learned this semester:

The first step to being happy with the world is being happy with yourself. It may be the hardest thing in the world to do, so pretend you're happy and eventually truth will follow.

Show a happy face. The worst thing in the world is for people to give you sympathy when you don't want sympathy. If you look happy, for the most part they won't bother you. Being able to cruise along is a good thing.

Don't drink when you have something depressing on your mind. Its just annoying for everyone else around you. And then you wake up the next morning incredibly embarassed.

School work becomes your last priority during senior year. Accept it, live it. Enjoy the time not spent on school work.

Never forget who you are or where you come from. Bad things happen, thats life. If you have a solid base, its easier to get through things.

(This sounds like a hallmark card but I don't care. I though I'd share my pearls of wisdom. Some of which other people have told me but they became really true for me these past couple of months.)
