the show must go on!

This was originally filled with many very nice things to say when I saved the draft one or two days ago, not immediately posting it from a feeling that something important enough for me to include was going to happen. Now, not so many nice things. I’m not positive whether this means I win or lose. I’m leaning towards win.

Apparently my karma balanced from this, as I was driving around filled parking lots doing 40 and managed to pass an officer on Little going nearly 90 late in the night. No one died! Maybe if someone had jumped out, I would’ve passed through them untouched; at least, that’s what you hope for in those situations. In any. Excluding the obvious trying-to-murder-someone situation. You gladly rip their intestines out with a serrated knife. This comes later.

On the up side, it’s spring break and my band will be playing at the Downtown Lounge on March 4th (Tomorrow! Saturday). It’s off of Main Street somewhere and the doors open at 8 P.M. We’ll be playing with Tator Junktion and some other band that I don’t know the name of. Attendance is mandatory, especially now. You may safely deem yourself a bad person otherwise, as if I haven’t already deemed you one. The show will be splendiferous, I can assure you. Instruments will be played, heads will be cracked, hearts will be stopped.

Most importantly, I need someone to go see Bela Fleck and the Flecktones with now. SOMEONE GO. They’re too good to miss.
