Just sent the e-mail retiring me from the student paper (and radio and tv). I don't have time to go to the meetings, which I signed a contract saying I would. I cannot do anything but reviews of CDs and movies, and with two of those in every paper, it's enough, but I don't feel it is. It's better to just say goodbye now before it becomes awkward. Ick.
Still struggling with finding a topic for my dissertation. Not sure about the movie-stuff quite yet. Ingvil wrote her master's dissertation on the menstrual myth in Ginger Snaps, and it's too similar to what I thought I'd do. Well, the same, really. Double ick.
