i heart pcp
on sunday, amanda and i went to see the portland cello project play at the triple door.
i love the triple door. i go there any time i have a reasonable excuse because it's so freaking beautiful. but since jazz isn't my thing, i don't get to go very often. first sufjan stevens, then amiina, now pcp. what can i say about them? they're some dudes and some ladies with cellos. sometimes they play by themselves, and sometimes they collaborate to bring lots of bows and strings to local indie rock bands. they're quite entertaining, expecially when they cover britney spears:

incidentally, the audience was full of fancy-dressed Grown-Ups who heard about the show on the local classical radio station, and have probably not been to an indie rock show before - they ate it all up. with a SPOON.
