Ouch....
So, yesterday sucked ass...
The morning went normally; went to school, bussed to work, ate lunch, went to work. Work sucked. It was a pro-D day, now the swim itself was fine, but we had a single bump, we needed two on waves but we didn't have enough people, I was stuck standing for three hours straight cause I didn't get my break....my feet hurt, and all around blah.
So work ended, I went to go catch the 39 to Don's place cause it drops me off pretty much right there, but it drove past me. APPARENTLY it doesn't stop at it's normal stop when it's the community bus, and it stops around the corner where the 30/31 stop. So I missed it. Note: it was POURING out! So I grumbled and started walking to Dons, and since that damn road was closed I had to go all the way around.
I got to the intersection of Wilkinson and West Saanich, waited for the walk signal, started walking....next thing I know I'm flying through the air and skidding on concrete. Some stupid lady (who happens to frequent the pool...) decided to do a left turn RIGHT INTO ME!!! Now, this intersection is quite well lit....like four street lamps well lit!
So yeah, shitty day at work, then I go get hit by a car (well, SUV). I hurt, but am not broken. My entire body feels like a bruise, yet the only mark you can see is the weeee bit of road rash on my hand, leather jacket kinda saved me in that aspect of things.
Urg, ow. Now I get to go studt for a midterm worth 40% of my grade *cries*
