Everything must go.

With the holidays fading like memories,I was going to draw a line under 2004 with a typically generalised post mortem, but my thoughts are so pinned to the future right now, that its difficult to compose anything other than to say that last year was the beginning of the rest of our lives.

In less than five months Lani and I will be Stateside, and that thought more than any other consumes almost everything right now.
So, its back to work for the boy called David-and if there is a concession to making a resolution, it's that in the coming months there shall be more work from me than ever before.
And I'll be having the spring clean of my life, so expect the oppurtunity to purchase a host of things, that have sat unrevealed in dust covered portfolios for aeons.
At the lovely and talented jasminetoad's suggestion, I'll be making canvas prints available soon too, as well as selling the remainder of mermaid paintings I have packed away.

And to start as I mean to go on,each new painted peice will be pre-empted by an ink drawing which I will also be selling.I've always loved the ink work of artists like Goya, Rackham, Hogarth, Bolton and more recently O'neil, and because my new series 'Victorian Gothic' lends itself perfectly to the medium, I thought I'd develop a sister series. As an artist, I've really missed drawing, and I can't stress enough how important that side of the process is.
My most recent piece-'Muse' was purchased by a private buyer, but the character of 'Springheel Jack' has really touched something of a chord in me, and so I wanted to revisit the idea, by further incorporating some more biographical elements to it. 'The Divine' is a culmination of the years end, and our focus on the future, and I'll make the piece available to bid on some time today.

A
very Happy and successful New Year to you all.
