Carolyn Shouldn't Make Promises
Okay, OKAY, I'm a bad person. Or at least a bad LJ-er. I keep thinking of things to post, but the longer I leave it the stupider I feel just jumping back in when my last post was in - what, December??? I haven't really been commenting much for the same reason, but I promise I'm still reading everything y'all post.
Anyway, no promises here, but I did include another youtube video, so stay tuned!
Yet again, frodolyn and I are fleeing the country, this time to Britain. I've got lots of family over there that'll put us up, so all is well and cheap. We're also taking a two day (one night) trip to Paris as a baby excursion. I'm super excited, and I think I might actually be getting on people's nerves a bit with my frequent mentions of our plans, but that's okay. They love me anyway. I'll try and post pictures and things while I'm away, but like I said, promises and I don't get along.
Also, I applied for and got into UVIC, although there seems to be some bizarre condition on my acceptance - apparently I don't meet the faculty of science requirements, which include I think 9 UNIVERSITY credits in science, so instead I'm in Social Sciences, but I've been told I can take all of the same courses. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me - if I can take all of the same courses, why can't I just be in science??? And how on earth DOES anyone get into science fresh outta high school or a completly unrelated college degree??? Ah well. As long as I can do my biology and psychology one day. Also I think it'll probably be very good for me to be completly on my own - force me to grow up like.
And now for the video. It's quite critical of christianity -- as, apparently, are god's australian angels -- but it raises many of the sillier points that I figured out quite a long time ago (contradictions, etc) so I feel compelled to show it. :)
