Rhiannon and Ianto, as siblings, do not get nearly enough exploration or attention, as shown by the fact that no fic communities I could find actually had a character tag for her. I identified so heavily with that relationship, if only because I have a brother who is just over 2 years young than me (the age difference I see as roughly the same for Ianto and Rhiannon). That's the thing - big sisters, I find, can be exceptionally nasty to their little brothers (I know, for my shame, I can) and find them incessantly annoying, but when it comes down to it they will protect their little brother to the death.
