6 days
In exactly 6 days and 11 minutes (if my plane doesn't crash in a fiery mess of metal) I will be in my baby's arms again, finally, and for good. No more goodbyes! My last day of work is tomorrow, and I will hate saying goodbye to some of my coworkers (I've already said my goodbyes to the ones I won't see again) =/ But those are the breaks. My transfer is official, and I will be starting on the 25th. I've already shipped a few boxes of my dvd's and video games along with my xbox360 to Pete, who is very happy to put them away for me (ie, rummage through my anime and play the video games for the gamecube, dreamcast and ps2 I sent.. the xbox360 should arrive tomorrow).
I've gotten his Valentine's Day stuff all taken care of:
combination Nintendo themed cap and t-shirt for the video game geek he is
a pair of boxers with a heart on it that has our names in it, which I am gonna put on him the day I get there, rawr!
a mousepad with our picture and names on it and
a sampler box of goodies from the popcorn factory, which will arive to his door on V-day, and will probably be completely devoured by the time I get there xD
I am now le broke. But I'm not worried, my credit cards are all up to date since I paid them all using my federal tax return. My state return should arrive on Thursday, directly deposited into my account.
Oh, I got a V-day gift for myself:
I won it for $32, so with shipping it was $43 (retail value was $369) ♥ bidz.com
