In other news, work makes me crazy tired.
After my second weekend of work, I have already found my two problem areas. The first is the Burn Unit. I have yet to see patients in that area, but the smell is just...ugh. I can barely stand making runs there, but today...on the last run of the day, they nurses were having Chinese Food. I actually had run to the bathroom after I dropped of the meds. Yum...love the smell of sweet and sour pork with burnt human flesh. The next problem area is the psych ward. I'm sure I don't ahve to explain my reluctance to deliver meds to that area.
Mom got bitten by a spider. TWICE o_O
I drove home right after work.
It bit her on her cheek, and I guess she didn't realize and brushed it away...but only as far as her ear, where it bit her again. Her face is swolen, and tis black in the places it bit her. She had chills and a temperature, but now she's ok. She's still a bit swolen though. If it weren't for my chem test on Tuesday, I'd stay here. Hell I might even email my prof to see if I can get away with it. My poor Mama T_T
