A moment of silence, please

I was prepping a review of the movie Juno, but I felt that this post took precedence.

Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has been assassinated by a suicide bomber at a rally in Pakistan. I think everyone who’s been following the story of Former Prime Minister Bhutto’s return to Pakistan in recent months knew that it was coming, and that it was simply a matter of “when”. But it’s still shocking, and sad.

Here are a couple of links:

The first article I read on CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/asiapcf/12/27/pakistan.bhutto/index.htm

For those of you who don’t know who Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto is, a quick Wiki look:

An obituary, from BBC News:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/2228796.stm

Both BBC and CNN are doing a great job of laying out the facts surrounding her life and death, and the impact her assassination will have on the future of Pakistan. I encourage you to click around both sites.
