Tonight was, for me, one of the biggest premieres of the season. Heroes has finally returned, and personally speaking, teased me, tempted me, slapped around, and left me wanting more. Just the way I like it.
Because I'm separated from my favorite TV viewing buddies, and left my phone at work, I figured the best (and most fun) way to share my reactions from tonight's premiere was live blogging. Which, I must say, was definitely fun. It's kind of like playing the word association game, but longer and with formatting.
Heroes
I'm not loving the Mohinder voiceover right now. Between the clips and his incredibly crytpic nonsense, it's just frustrating me, a veteran fan, and I know that it can't be helping any newbies just tuning in.
Mohinder's Conference of Skeptitude
Worldwide plague? Mohinder, do you really think you're going to get backing on this? It may be four months later, but you're still a dumbass. And then he throws a man against a wall. I love it!
And who *is* the half bald man with the deviated septum anyway?
Hot, Hot Honduras
Ooohh... new hereos in Honduras. We're exapdning the world a bit. But why has the subtitle text changedcolor? Oh, no, they're going to America. Never mind about that whole expanding globe thing. And they're related and wanted for murder.
High School of Bitchy Suckitude
The Bennetts, excuse me, the Butlers, have moved to California. Claire gets a Nissan. Does this mean the Versa is getting a baby sister? Ooohh... smouldering eye contact, and a look that says that that he may not be a total dumbass.
Futile Feudal Japan
HIRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank *god* you've gotten better at freezing time.
Matt Parkman's Mind
Matt! You're allowed to carry a piece again... and NYPD? Congrats, Matt! Nice job learning how to use your gift!
High School of Bitchy Suckitude
And he has a name. West. Robots and Aliens. I definitely like you.
Hot, Hot Honduras
Hmm... Banditos. Time for some powers, me thinks. You know, this definltely seems darker.
New York, the center of the universe (Orange Staircase Division)
George Takai is keeping vigil. Creepy picture that looks a lot like Molly's. Not good. Bitches no, you may NOT kill Geroge Takai.
New York, the center of the universe (Peter's Apartment Division)
Nathan! Mama Patrelli! Oh dear, not Heidi and the kids.
"You're evil, ma. Get out." I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for those slightly slurred words.
And the mark of death has also come for Angela Patrelli. About damn time.

Nissan commercials: Okay, 2 Nissan Rogue commericals back to back? A bit much, don't you think? Sorry, 3, 3 Nissan Rogue commercials. Mwa, ah, ah.
Kopy Kingdom of Bitchy Suckitude
Come on HRG, snap his little neck. Snap. His. Neck. Or I'll do it for you.
Mohinder's Conference of Skeptitude
Ah, deviated septum works for the Company. And he's a bastard, for bringing up Shanti. And his power is extremely... useful.
New York, Center of the Universe (Chandra's/Mohinder's/Matt's/Molly's Apartment Division),
"I miss Mohinder. He cooks". Hot damn, Mohinderand Matt were playing house! Let the slashers rejoice! And Molly? Smart, snippy little bitch. This is good.
Hot, Hot Honduras
And Maya and Alejandro are reading The Book. Man, for something that everyone keeps saying sold maybe five copies worlwide, it sure is easy to find everywhere the camera goes.
High School of Bitchy Suckitude
I don't know if I want Claire to choke on purpose or nail it just to shut those snotty bitches up. Damn. I think I actually wanted her to at least try. Add: I'm glad she broke her leg, cause that's accurate, and I'm glad she at least tried, and I'm quadruply glad that West was right there to make significant eye contact and maybe put everything together. He may be a presumptive ass, but he sure is perceptive. Which we have been sorely lacking on this show.
Kopy Kingdom of making bitches suck it
HRG I LOVE YOU!!!... I think that was better than snapping his neck. I really do.
Futile Feudal Japan
And David Enders has the English accent. Life is good. And he's a marvellous bastard. Even better.
New York City, Center of the Known Universe (Significant Rooftop Division)
Now... there are nine. Excellent. *does math* THat means there were 12.
Futile Feudal Japan
So, if I'm reading my plot devices correctly, Hiro becomes Kensei in an effort to make his childhood legends come true and to make sure that he can get back to the future properly. And if he's busy being Kensei, and teaching David how to be a good guy (good luck, with that, Hiro-kun), and wooing the swordsmith's daughter, I can see why he hasn't made it back to the present yet.

Heroes commercial: Squee! Hi Mohinder!
Economic Bubble House of Bitchy Suckitude
Great! Mama Bennett and Mr. Muggles are alive! I was actually kind of worried. Though i can't figure out who they're managing to livein that awesome house given HRG's shitty job at Kopy Kingdom. I ove how the family dynamic has changed so much.
Mohinder's lonely hotel room
OH MY GOD YES! It was totally a trap! Awesome! Go Mohinder!
Nathan's lair of drunkitude
And Nathan still has his daddy issues. And what the hell was that in the mirroir? *shudders* Creepy.
Floating outside the Economic Bubble of Bitchy Suckitude
And West can fly. Like Nathan. I think that may be one of the few real duplications of power we've had on this show. Niiice.
Fake Ireland
Ireland! Irealand!! But god, the accents are awful. PETER! You poorly accented fake Irishmen, why are you asking for iPods? Peter is better than iPods!!
Hmm... Okay, the amneisia I was expecting, but for some reason, he's wearing the Hatian's necklace. Curioser and curioser.
I had way too much fun with this. I may have to do it next week. And looking back at all the different locations, I'm actually a little tired. Heroes definitely covered a lot of ground this episode!
