The main copier/printer used by the IT Practice is called "Venus" (yes, we're the sort of yuppy organization that gives our copiers names of planets and conference rooms the names of movies). It's one of those bigger, fandangled copiers that can staple and sort and what not.... and it's always jamming or broken for some reason or another, mainly coz it's over-utilized. When that happens people usually take out their frustrations on the poor thing, jerking the doors open, ripping the paper out and then slamming the doors shut, cursing under their breath the whole time - like abusing the thing is going to make it work better.
This morning I walked in and it was jamming as usual... then I walked closer and found a long piece of plastic sitting on top of the copier that suspiciously looks like it belongs inside the machine. I can just imagine the look on the face of the person angrily trying to undo a paper jam when POP! You just broke a $1000+ copier, buddy boy. Go make yourself scarce.
Ah, people.
