enjoy the silence
For some reason I feel as though I haven't posted in forever. But no, it's only been two weeks.
Work is chugging along at it's usual pace. I'm working on my statement of purpose for Hopkins' evening grad program. I'm in the midst of sorting through the mess that is my credit, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's not as much of a mess as I thought it was, but i still shouldn't try to buy a house till around 2011, which is prolly a good idea anyway.
I got an email the other day that really pissed me off, and thusly joined the "Dear Stupid" community they've been advertising on the LJ home page: http://community.livejournal.com/dear_stupid/362172.html
All in all, life is not incredibly interesting at the moment, though not entirely uneventful. I've been feeling very quiet lately. My trip back to Manila was the first time in about a year and a half where I had the chance to be removed from all the noise that had cropped up in my life and in my head, and being away from that allowed things to slowly float as they became important, instead of all simultaneously screaming for resolution. I want to hold onto that, so I can deal with them one at a time instead of trying to decipher where all the noise is coming from. They're all big enough things on their own to warrant my full attention.
