not so productive day
Whoa... This new interface is a tad odd... We'll reserve judgment till I've tooled around with it a bit.
Today was rather unproductive, though not in a bad way. A fire alarm went off shortly after lunch, and it wasn't a drill, so the whole building got to hang out in the pretty sun for about 45 minutes. Which was kinda nice, seeing that I've been feeling rather distracted as of late, and finding it quite difficult to concentrate... even during my jaunt to tower while trying to prolong the fire alarm break, I couldn't even concentrate enough to flip through a single magazine. Just very antsy.
I suppose in a lot of ways I feel like I'm waiting for the shoe to drop, but I'm not sure whether it will be a boot or a slipper, and there is a vague sense of apprehension following me around in that I'm not sure what to protect myself from, or if I even need to protect myself at all. Meh. In a lot of ways there's no point in worrying because more often than not things will unfold the way they will regardless of how much you fret over it. Especially when you can't even really pin down what it is you're worrying about.
Mayhaps I need to cut down my caffeine intake.
