There is a profound sadness that rests with all music lovers today ... Luciano Pavarotti was a widely known operatic Tenor who helped to bring truly beautiful classical music into many people's lives.
As my friend Tom put it: "We have lost one of the greatest singers ever to perform."

I only found out this afternoon when I came home from work. My father told me shortly after. He was just making conversation and apparently thought I knew. Until he saw the shock on my face.
I wouldn't believe it. I couldn't believe it. I still don't want to believe it.
So he went flipping through channels and we saw one of the many montages on the news... And of course they closed it with "Nessun Dorma."
Only Luciano can give me chills with that masterpiece.
He will be sorely missed.
