Subtitle: A guide to blogging with an ego.

Don't do it. I actually don't have to tell you not to. If you're doing it- and by 'it' I mean blogging for the purpose of acquiring readers, chances are you probably will give up all on your own.

Or maybe you're nothing like me. Perhaps you will get oodles of readers. If you do, well, bully for you, my random friend. Do me a favor and shoot a few of the nice ones my way.

I guess the reason I rarely post anymore is because, like every other blog I've done, noone reads it. And to be honest, if I wanted to write for just me, I'd do it. In fact, I do.
But blogging... Blogging is revealing and invites strangers to look at what your life is and hear you and then you're not a person typing to themselves- you're typing to people who want to read you, who look forward to it.
You're typing to people who want to hear what you have to share.

Isn't that a great feeling?
I bet it is.

And no, sweetie, who's name in here begins with a 'V', I don't mean you. I'm happy that you read. I read you, too. I'm sorry I never comment, but I do read.

Well, the theory is, if you write it, they will come.
I'm not sure how much water that holds.

If anyone ever finds proof either way, by all means, share.

Ttfn, luvelies.
