snow on the foothills, free hot chocolate, a library i won't be thrown out of for nine hours yet! it is my last fall finals week in community college, and i will miss this sweet, woody place. i've been accepted to one university of california which is strong in the biological sciences, but i doubt it will allow me to rub my cheek on a gene

Isn't the mystery better? I live in Southern California. I finally traveled off the west coast for the first time last May - to an island off the coast of Georgie for an insect photography workshop. Could there be a more compelling snapshot of my life?
