Kanzeon appeared in a flutter of light just outside Jack's condo, a bottle of whiskey in one hand and her usual nearly see-through silks fluttering about her. It was actually nice to be invited somewhere for a simple social call instead of needing to hurry to save Konzen's ass or to tell a group of monks thanks for the offerings but she wasn't

Jack in the meantime was, er, thawing the inside of the place a tad. He wasn't use to having guests over. However, it wasn't warm enough that his ceiling, full of lovely icicles hanging would melt. Mainly it was the floor and the little bit of furniture he did have.
"Coming! Coming!" Jack replied to the door knock. Sliding almost to the front door, as he opened he was in his snowman apron;
"Hi." Came the reply as he smiled. "Come in, come in." The elf motioned.
He had been mopping up the melted ice on the floor, mop still in one hand.

Kanzeon laughed at how wet everything was and handed Jack the bottle as she entered.
"Cute apron. Were you cleaning up just for me?" she practically sang as she gave him a sultry smile that slowly changed into one that held nothing but pure amusement.

Jack took the wine with his free hand and slide it under his arm. Real charming. A mop and a bottle of wine.
"Thank you." Flashing some teeth, "But I'm sure it couldn't compare to what you're wearing." If you could call it anything, not that he minded at all, he just had to keep himself from obvoiusly drooling.
"But of course" ~ The elf said cooly and flirty, as he kicked the door shut with his foot, "After all, we wouldn't want you sliding around now would we?"
Reply
"Of course not. I might just slip and accidentally expose myself. We wouldn't want that now would we?" she suggested with a wink.
That said she headed for the living room, swaying her hips for him to see even though she had no intention of going beyond flirtation with him and took a seat on the couch.

The elf's eyes followed her hips and after a moment grunted quietly to himself and looked away in feeling she was doing this on purpose.
Slowly followed her to the couch, placing the wine bottle on the some glass coffee table in front. "I see you bought some wine." Continuing to show his teeth. "You didn't have too you know." Chuckling softly.
"Make yourself comfortable and -" He voice froze as he sniffed the air.
"Do I smell something burning?"
And gashed as he spun around; "My chestnuts roasting on the open fire!"
Quickly as he snatched the tongs, from along side the fireplace, to take them out, dropping the mop to the floor.

"I never thought anyone would literally do that!"
She wiped tears from her eyes, deciding to be helpful for once and picked up the mop. She leaned on it like it was a pole, watching him frantically get at the nuts and continuing to chuckle.
"Are they at all salvageable?"
Reply
"Well..." As he pulled a few from the fireplace.
"It's actually quite good... Sides, you're forgetting where I'm from aren't you?" Frost grinned.
"Looks like it." Placing the chestnuts on the glass table and as soon as the elf finished something 'dinged' in the kitchen.
"Oh, for the love of Rudolph!" Dropping the tongs, "Excuse me."
It just seemed like everything he was making was going all off at once.

"What's supposed to be for dinner?"
Reply
"But this wasn't the ham that was done."
Frost reappeared, oven mits on that where also little snowman faces to finish off the apron which was just the body, holding a tray with both hands.
"But the chocolate chip cookies, are."
Sliding over to her and lowering the tray, "Would you like one before hand?"
Reply
She ate her cookie and grinned at Jack.
"You are a marvelous baker! Maybe if this Santa thing doesn't work out you should see about being a cooking spirit!"
Reply
"Why thank you." Frost replied cutely, not paying attention to the rest of it.
And waved one free arm, and two frosted crystal wine glasses in his fingers crossed, setting them gently on the table.
"I'll get the ham."
