Where do we go from here?

Her bag was on her bed as its owner, a nineteen year old woman, sat at a desk composing an email. She was writing to her husband, letting him know that she had made it fine and connected with her friends. Her hotel was in beautiful Phenac City, and she paid for a room next to hers for Ignacia to stay in, after they had agreed to meet up in Orre together. She wasn't sure if the young one had paid for a room of her own, or would be staying with her sisters, and rather than let her walk around for a room or sleep out in the harsh conditions that Orre was famous for, she decided on a whim to buy a spare room for her. If she didn't use it, that was fine by her. She figured that she would run into someone else who could use it, and she was sure that the owners didn't care so long as the room was cared for.
Melody Anson was in Orre for the Orre Cup, a tournament that had just started up. In addition to meeting up with Iggy, she had found out that her friend Carwin, and his friends, were coming, and left Gateon Port with them. She dropped Carwin and his friends off at Mt. Battle, and declined their offer to join them for training. She would visit another day, and wanted to check in to her hotel. As the three got out, and Ignacia started to get out, Melody stopped her.
"Ignacia, why don't you stay with me and I can show you some other local spots for training? Double Battles are the norm around here, so I think we should do some training on that of our own. What do you say?"
After Ignacia made her decision, Melody turned the car towards Phenac and drove back there, getting her hotel reservation, as well as Carwin's and Ashton's. She figured Eric would be staying in with his girlfriend.
The trip back to Phenac was made, and Melody had wanted to talk with Ignacia about the Tournament. Did she know where to go, what was her battle plan, etc. Mel had participated in plenty of tournaments in her time, and Ignacia had asked to train with her. She was more than willing to share her knowledge with the young red-head.
She had just hit send when she heard a knock on her door. Melody slid the chair back, stretching a bit. Her shoes were off, and she was wearing an orange tank top with green shorts. Her hair was put into a ponytail, and she had around her neck the Pokeball locket her husband had given her. She stood up and answered the door, enjoying the feel of the cool wooden paneling against her bare feet.
"Yes, who is it?" she asked, her hand on the brass doorknob.
