I'm Here!!!
Hi **HUGS** to all those that have been encouraging me to update my LJ... I know it has been such a long time but so many changes have taken place in my/our lives since last year at this time.
First I have returned to the working world after quite a few years at home tending to Mom.. I do love my job, but it is keeping me much busier than I had expected. Of course Dave/Rowland says if I didn't think everything had to be so perfect and I would learn to let things go a bit... that is another story..
Then back in March we found out Dave had Prostate cancer.... what a blow that was....
He had surgery on April 2, and just returned to work on June 4th. He is doing Wonderful!!! He still tires easy but we are getting back to normal here. Just very thankful that the cancer was caught early and confined to the prostate only.. He will have tests every 6 months for the next 2 years, but that is Ok!
I do look at my email and LJ as often as possible however I very seldom take the time to write anymore... by the time I read everything I'm so tired that I just shower and head to bed.
I do want all of my friends to know I do think of you all often and try to keep up with what is happening in your lives and look forward to seeing you all again... Well that's it for the update tonight. **HUGS** to all and thoughts and prayers are with you all always!
