I hope that everyone's new years was okay? Have you guys kept your resolutions so far?
Mine was okay. I spent the whole day doing college apps and then finally sending them at like 11:50 Jan 1st. 9 minutes before the deadline. I'm happy that I got it over with.
So far, I've applied to:
~ Barnard - Rejected
~ Bucknell University S/M
~ Wellesley College R
~ SUNY New Paltz S
~ SUNY Gene...o [Don't exactly remember how to spell that] S/M/R
I still have to finish my application for:
~ Mount Holyoke College M/R
~ Smith College M
~ Northeastern University M
~ Goucher College M/S
R - Reaches, M - Matches, S - Safety
Funny thing, SUNY G. is so unpredictable that I have no idea. It'll be really funny to be rejected from a safety school. No that'll be bad. Then I'll have to make up my own college.
Oh yea, during Xmas, I went skiing again at Killington, Vermont. MOST ANNOYING WEATHER EVER!!! Okay, 1st day, It was fine. Too bad I got there late with ony 2 hours left on the lifts. 2nd day, it was drizzling. And freezing. And slightly windy. Not too bad but that freezing part really bothered me and my nerves. Later that night, it started pouring! It just wouldn't stop raining. So by the 3rd day, there was ice ice [baby]everywhere. I almost skiied off a cliff/edge cuz I couldn't stop in time. That ice got me really scared. Still same day, I went down Cruise Control [blue] and they had like 5 snowmakers blowing. I couldn't see a thing. So I go down slowly, I see one of my friends dad stop, so I thought that he must've fell or something, so I stop next to him. I asked if he's okay, and he said he was and told me to go ahead. I go ahead, and I stop again to check him again, just as I turned, I GOT CRASHED INTO!!! Okay it might've been my fault for stopping without slowing down or like stopping in the middle of the slope [I couldn't see so I wouldn't know] but the minute I turned around, I I just saw his body and his arms waving as he crashed into me. Apparently his body flew over mine while I just tumbled a bit. But even so, my pole flew out of my hand and that strap like sprained my thumb. And I got bruises on my chest from his arms hitting me. Weird huh? But nevertheless, I found it exciting. I can't wait to go back next year. =]
Did I mention that I'm doing badly in Government and Calc? No surprise there huh?
