[Here's Ballad again, and his Houndour--which is now Houndoom, thanks to their training. The Houndoom is lounging, watching Ballad's battle with his tail flicking. He managed to turn on the 'gear with his paw to share the fun, apparently.
Ballad and his pidgey are battling against a yanma, with the two flying pokemon zipping around above everything.]
All right, now just like we talked about.
[Using zoid battle tactics with pokemon? Absolutely. The yanma dives in with a quick attack, just managing to graze Ballad's pidgey as it pulls back, letting the bug zip by.]
Now!
[And the pidgey follows right after it, tackling the yanma out of the sky as it pulls to a stop to look confused. There's a pause and then the yanma doesn't get up.]
All right! I guess that overtake strategy actually works sometimes. Heh.
[Ballad's pidgey lands, but then starts to fidget on the ground and glow. He leaps into the sky again, evolved into pidgeotto. Yay, training! As Ballad's hair is blown back and he staggers.]
Gyah! ...Don't know if I'll ever get used to that. I'm glad we're improving, though. Now we just have to get Multi up to speed.
