Another 'for the hell of it' kinda post.
Was taking thechanchan home last night and my car's still running on the emergency spare. Mind you, I've been doing so since I had an agreement setup with my parents that because I ferry my brother and mum around so often, that I'd only have to pay half the cost of the tire. But they've been kinda dragging their feet on the issue. Doesn't seem like we've got a choice any more.
As I was saying, when I was taking Chanchan home last night, just around the corner from her house at around 1:30am, the emergency spare pretty much blew up. Yay. So I ended up having to get a ride home and now I've gotta hope that since I gave my share of the money, that my dad will be able to get the tire, get me back up to Anaheim Hills where the car was left overnight and pray I can get the whole thing together before my shift at work today. Otherwise things are gonna get complicated...
It's not so much that I need it to get to work, I can get to where I work on bicycle in about half an hour. However, I need it so I can pick up pyrokitty from her job in Orange. So yeah, I'm not entirely sure how I'm gonna get this to roll today.
But on a positive note? I've got three shifts on my check for the next paycheck with a chance for more! Just in time for the con. Now if I can just keep on top of all this costuming work, I'll be in business.
