A stormy birthday!

Yay it's my birthday today!! Too bad I'm celebrating it with Supertyphoon Yoyong! Starcraft session/Bday bash with highschool clique just got cancelled because of darn uber-storm happening just outside my window. Sayang, I was so looking forward to trying out my Dark Zealot rush on Robert and his annoying armada of acidic phelgm spitting hydralisks! Uggh!! Well I guess I'm still lucky coz I'm not living in one of those unfortunate towns currently facing the wrath of Yoyong. I should pray for them!! My 6 year old sister brightened up my day by preparing for my bday. Using scratch paper and one of those kiddie scissors, she fashioned birthday hats and paper balloons for the whole family, including our helpers. My dad told me that we'll just eat dinner tomorrow. Okay. It's understandable coz he just came from Zamboanga. It's really a surprise that he was able to get home depsite the friggin monsoon. Because I had nowhere else to go, I decided to clean my room. Dust bunnies have been multiplying just like their living counterparts. So I spent the day exterminating them bunnies. While cleaning, I was able to take a brief trip down memory lane. I first uncovered all my R.L Stine books...my Goosebumps series and my Ghosts of Fear Street series. I'm proud to say that I have all Ghosts of Fear Street books. I collected these series waaaaaaay back in gradeschool. I remember rummaging through garage sales in the US just to get my grubby little hands on them. I really am a horror freak!!! I also use to have those horror books by Christopher Pike and Bruce Coville. One of my favorite T.V. series back then was the now defunct "Are You Afraid of the Dark". Grabe!!! My favorite part of the show was just before they announce the title of the story. "Submitted to the approval of the Midnight Society, i call this story, the Tale of the _______". (then throws fairy dust o the campfire) Hahahahaha!!! Favorite ko talaga yun. I even remember having dreams of joining their club. Haaaaaaay. I kinda miss those days. I just love scaring myself. Up to now, I still watch Ngiiinig and lots of those Asian horror films sprouting everywhere. I also uncovered some of my ADnD boxed sets. And I can't believe I spent 120 dollars (yes people dollars... I got them sa US) for them. I bought them just to read them...not to play them. Wala din naman kasi akong kalaro. O well... at least I still enjoy reading them. I even remember creating characters just for the heck of it. I love throwing the 20 sided dice! BTW, thanks to those who greeted me despite the typhoon!! Hahahaha. Joke. Basta thanks for all your text greetings. :)
